Infection Control is a high priority for MA Rashid Hospital. Every effort has been taken to minimize the occurrence of infection in patients. This effort includes a Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). The MA Rashid Hospital’s CSSD is one of the most advanced sterilization unit in Bangladesh. Its design and operation ensures that all appropriate materials, supplies and instruments are sterilized and subsequently managed to maintain their sterility until used in patient treatment and care.

The management of sterile goods of the hospital, through their entire “life cycle” is directed by international standard policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. And, all sterile goods and equipment and processes that produce them are continuously monitored for Quality Assurance and Infection Control.
